Recently I received five new shades from the Pink Mix Collection of the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Lipstick * line in PR. I love the formula of these lipsticks and have shared a few of my other favorite shades in the past; you can check out that post here.
These five new shades are lovely for spring and feature different pink tones, with one leaning more towards purple. I’ve filmed a swatch video so you can see each shade in action; you can watch it here, let me know which shade is your favorite.
When I wear these lipsticks, I apply my foundation/concealer over my lips, then remove it with micellar water and a cotton swab. This helps me create a defined line and create a clean surface for the lipstick to adhere to.
I have found that the formula breaks down a bit on me after eating something oily. Causing it to become slightly sticky and wear off. Otherwise this lipstick lasts the day for me. Prior to application I also like to shake the component for a few seconds before using it. Once applied, I let the lipstick dry for a few minutes before touching my lips together to allow the formula to dry down.
