For my makeup today, I’m wearing a soft, glittery eyeshadow look with a thin black wing. I started by using the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in the shade ‘Kiss from a Rose’ as a cream base. Then, I applied some shades from the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz palette on top, and the Too Faced better than sex liner for the wing. I’m so pleased with how it turned out that I’ll have to film an eyeshadow tutorial for this look.
For my lashes, I went with Velour Lashes in the style ‘Soulmate’ I have an affiliate code Ashley20 for 20% off, and used the Milani Highly Rated Lash Extensions Tubing Mascara. For my foundation, I used the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation along with the Urban Decay Stay Naked Concealer. On my cheeks, I opted for the Nesting B!#%h Face Palette from Pretty Vulgar Beauty(older product and I can’t find a link).
When it came to my lips, I couldn’t decide on the perfect shade that would complement my eye makeup. To better visualize how they’d look, I decided to try them on and made a post today showcasing the different options.

It’s 60 degrees and rainy here in New Hampshire, so I’ve been walking around with a giant blanket. It’s not the most beautiful weather, but we’ll have gorgeous fall foliage everywhere in the next couple of weeks or so. Fall is definitely my favorite season, but I really dislike rainy days as they make it feel much colder than it is. However, it’s definitely perfect weather to cozy up in bed and watch movies, with Harry Potter being the first thing that comes to mind. I’ve been working today though and just hiding in my blanket at my desk; it’s way too early to turn on the heat still.
For the rest of the day, my schedule is pretty laid back. I only have to run a couple of errands, like going to the post office and the grocery store, and then it’s finally time for the gym for leg day. Sometimes, the rain makes it so hard to get up and get moving though.
However I do have some fantastic snacks today, haha. I’ve been munching on freeze-dried pineapple; it’s sooo good if you haven’t tried it. In the past, I typically didn’t like the texture of freeze-dried foods for whatever reason. However, it seems that most people love them, as I’ve seen a ton of freeze-dried foods sold on TikTok, especially candies like Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, and gummy worms.
Not to get sidetracked, but speaking of foods on TikTok, have you seen those jelly crystal candies? They are so pretty, and I just love the ASMR videos of people eating them. The outside has a crunchy texture, and the inside looks chewy. I’ll definitely have to order some in the future to try. I do have a YouTube video to edit later that I’m excited to post. It’s a really soft brown eyeshadow look that is all matte, and I’ve already worn it twice this week. I also structured the video a little differently; normally, I only talk about the steps and what I’m doing. However, for this look, I made it more of a chit-chat get-ready-with-me video and just show the colors I’m using. So, hopefully, I can get that done later today.
