Here in New England, it gets pretty chilly even before winter officially arrives. It’s been in the 30s for the past couple of weeks, so I’ve been dressing very warmly. Sometimes bulky jackets and coats are not the most fashionable, so I wanted to create a cute warm outfit for the cold weather. I recently did some searching around on Amazon.com and came up with this outfit.
I wanted to create a monochromatic type look and based this around the jacket. I found this really cute faux sterling and faux suede Moto jacket; it’s thick and warm. I really loved all the details on it, the faux sterling isn’t super soft, but this jacket is pretty functional and warm otherwise.
Next, I found this cute hat, scarf, and glove set that all match. What’s really cool about the gloves is that you can still use them with your phone. You can’t type very well with them since they’re bulky, but you can do basic things like open your phone with them, which is nice.
For the boots, I found this pretty pair with white and beige details; they are mid-calf height and pretty warm. I bought a size 7, which is my normal size, and they were snug with thick socks in the toe area. So, I would size up if you like roomy boots.
For my regular outfit underneath everything, I was wearing Levi’s 724 jeans. I ordered them in medium indigo, but I think the color I received is lighter, but maybe not? They are super soft and comfortable, and I’m really loving the fit. For the sweater, I found this grey turtleneck cropped sweater with a ribbed knit pattern.
