Today’s look is a simple easy to create beginner mauve eyeshadow tutorial without false lashes. This look would be perfect for all sorts of occasions and you could swap out any of the colors for a different shade if you prefer. I love matching my eyeshadow to my outfit or shoes for a monochromatic look. Mauve leans more red, and green is it’s complimentary shade so if you have green eyes this will really may make them pop!
Considering this is a beginner eyeshadow tutorial, I have not included false lashes. I myself was not blessed with long curly lashes. So I wanted to share a little trick I’ve been loving. First I curl my lashes after softly heating the curler with my blow dryer(test the curler with your fingers first to ensure it’s not to hot) and then use a waterproof mascara. The mascara I’ve been using for this is the Too Better Than Sex Mascara . My lashes have been holding a curl sooo much better and longer with this method. I even tried this out one day skiing over the winter and my lashes lasted the whole time!
