Eyeshadow has always been my favorite thing to apply in my makeup routine. I just love being able to play with various colors to bring a look together. I recently placed a Sephora order to purchase some new eyeshadow palettes I was eager to try, and one of them was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Fall Romance eyeshadow palette. I was very excited to try this one out, it has a great color scheme for the fall season. It has 12 shades featuring some beautiful jewel tones and neutrals, with a variety of matte shades and shimmer shades. Although I didn’t get a chance to try every single shade in the palette, I really enjoyed the performance of the colors. The shades I used were pigmented and easy to blend. They went on very smoothly with vibrant color pay-off and applied easily to my eyelids. I’ve included some swatches on my arm below of all the shades, where I used concealer as a base. The palette has a versatile color range; some shades lean more towards dramatic eye looks, but I also think there are some shades to create soft everyday looks as well.
I use eyeshadow frequently as eyeliner, and I think blending out shade leather all over the lid and using shades Crimson or Twilight on the lash line smoked out would create such a beautiful look. I do wish there were a matte cream color to apply to the inner corner, but other than that, I love this palette for fall.
